解析：destiny来源于拉丁文des-（与……相反）+-tin-（抓住、拿住）+-y（后缀），其字面意思为没有抓住。俗语说“人的命，天注定”，好的命运不是从天而降的，而是靠自己努力争取的。
fortune可指好运气，也可指坏运气，该词重在表达影响人们生活的命运和机会，又可指“命运之神”。例如：His fortune turned from good to bad.（他的运气变坏了。）
doom尤指厄运或劫数，暗含最终的、常常是毁灭性或灾难性的命运。例如：to be doomed to failure（注定要失败）。
destiny除含有命里注定的含义外，还暗示“充满美好希望”。例如：It was her destiny to become famous.（她命中注定会出名。）
